Golden Eye jungle hide away at Jamaica ~ Ian Flemming (author of the James Bond novels) built himself a private refuge in a jungle lodge in Jamaica. The British writer flew here every year to escape the winter months of his homeland and find inspiration for his 12 “007” adventure novels. His winter home has now been made into a luxurious resort with 16 private villas, all with private beaches: the Golden Eye Resort.
